SONY HD World:
SONY unveils next full-HD generation Bravia LCD TVs

The Philippines can now fully appreciate the “Sony HD World” experience with the advent of cutting-edge full high-definition (HD) products such as the Blu-ray player, HD Cyber-shots, Handycams, and more recently, the HD VAIO Notebook PC. Sony, the number one brand in home entertainment, continues its march to widen the gap from its competitors with unrelenting efforts to improve, and add to their already impressive line-up of BRAVIA LCD televisions.

Toshiya Kagita, President and Managing Director of Sony Philippines, Inc., said “we owe our continuing success in the market to our dedicated Filipino consumers. Sony believes that our loyal customers deserve the latest innovations in home entertainment, which is why we work hard that these are launched in the Philippine market at just about the same time in other markets.”

New X-Series and W-Series LCD TV Technology

“BRAVIA’s new X-Series and W-Series LCD TVs are loaded with premium full-HD technology,” Arnold Balao, Sony Philippines, Deputy Director-Home Audio Video Marketing, said.
“The New X-Series is now considered to be the top-of-the-line BRAVIA LCD television, which is available in 40”, 46”, 52”, and a jaw-dropping 70” screen, the largest full-HD screen by Sony. It utilizes a superior BRAVIA Engine PRO that produces high-resolution 1080p images (HD to HD creation.) The W-Series on the other hand comes in 40”, 46”, and 52” screens and makes use of the BRAVIA Engine Ex that recreates true-to-life images even with SD signals (SD to HD creation.)”

Newest Members of the Family: The BRAVIA VW60 and VW200 Full-HD Home Projectors

If you want to view movies in your own mini-theater, Sony can make it happen. Not only does BRAVIA have the perfect full-HD televisions that display excellent audio-visual quality, but you now also have the option of converting your recreation room into your own authentic, and private movie theatre with the all-new Sony BRAVIA VW60 and VW200 Full-HD Home Projectors.

“The Sony BRAVIA Home Projectors are the newest, promising additions to the BRAVIA Family,” Ms. Khendy Loiz, Marketing Officer for Display HAV, said. “Sony decided to include them in our BRAVIA line-up because unlike the conventional LCD projectors out in the market today, only the Sony BRAVIA Home Projectors are built to provide our consumers the closest possible movie-theater experience in full high-definition.”
