Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 XTX

THE latest GPU video card is brewing up a storm as its colossal force is up and ready to whip avid gamers all over the world off their senses.

Branded as the highest-end video card available in the market, ATI Radeon X1950 XTX is everything but a humdrum. The new graphic card from ATI, high-powered as it is, promises remarkable graphics.

The highly pumped up video card is most likely to bring gaming power and performance into unparalleled heights by flaunting three key features: Inclusion and support of GDDR4, spanking design of heatsink and fan unit, and affordability.

The X1950 is based on a chip labeled by ATI as R580+, a Shader Model 3.0 which supports GDDR4 memory whose memory clock is up to 2GHz. With a speed equaling to 61.4 GB/sec, gamers can really experience true powerful performance unfold within their very eyes as high resolutions or high antialiasing settings is sure to dish up exceptional results with a faster memory.

It is supported by Microsoft Direct X 9.0 games and is sure to carry the recently launched Windows Vista.

On a par with their improved performance, ATI has also focused on refurbishing the component’s heatsink and fan unit to reduce noise and produce cooler temperature. Heatsink is made up of three copper heatsinks, all of which are heat piped, which help cool down the memory. From its earlier front location, the fan has been placed at the rear while its fan blades and fan motor have been modified. The design of the unit itself has been stylized into a red translucent shroud with a vibrant touch of ATI metal logo.

Despite all the revamp and the latest tinkering in the architectural design, X1950 do come out cheap. With its towering performance the cost does not skyrocket to the high heavens but is indeed reasonably priced to meet the consumer’s budget without having to sacrifice quality and performance.
